The gourmet restaurant VIVANDA has been given a new, exclusive space. The new rooms await you, flooded in natural light, with views of the National Park and the hotel garden. In addition to the wonderful view in the spacious, modern and newly designed ambience of the VIVANDA, the pampering programme includes the exclusive surprise and tasting menu, paired by selected wines.
The magic begins as soon as you enter: In the vaulted cellar of the traditional Engadin house, the new cosy lounge awaits as the perfect place for an aperitif. A romantic ambience by candlelight, in winter by a crackling fireplace and always with accommodating service. Then it’s on to the modern area of the hotel - the newly designed gourmet restaurant VIVANDA.
Dario Cadonau learned his passion, which is cooking, from top chefs. His teachers included Daniel Bumann at the Chesa Pirani in La Punt (18 points and 2 stars), Philip Rochat in Crissier (19 points and 3 stars) and Harald Wohlfahrt at Traube, Tonbach (Ger) (19 points and 3 stars). You can choose the wine to pair with the gourmet menu yourself in the wine cellar or select one from the IN LAIN wine list.

Take a seat at our Chef’s Table with a direct view of the kitchen as well as a view into the red-wine cellar. A special place to experience culinary flights of fancy while watching delicious delights being created. The Chef’s Table, which seats 2 to 8 people, is sure to become your favourite too. Our Chef’s Table’, essentially a booth in the historic stone vault cellar, is very popular - which is why we recommend reserving early.
